Baby Cakes Implores You To BE AGRESSIVE When Role Playing!

Howdy folks. Bobert here. Saw this music video on a site I frequent (badassdigest.com) and decided I had to share it. The lyrics are pretty dope. And the visuals just get me rolling. Give it a look see, will ya?

Share a Game: Amber Diceless

Drat! I Rolled “Washing Dishes”!

One of the cooler things that my fiance brought back with her from China were these six-sided dice that determine what chores you’re stuck doing in a household. A cursory once-over reveals a side for “sweeping”, “dishes”, “walking the dog”, and other some such mundane activities. There’s also one for drinking games — Always a nice accompaniment while doing chores around the house.

What’s That Smell?!

Hey folks, Bobert here! Bringing you more of that wonderful randomness that only the interwebs can conjure up! In gaming, there are three kinds of gamer (at least IMHO): a RULE player, a ROLL player, and then there’s the ROLE player. A hard core Role player wants to get inside the head of their character and really embrace any and all of the traits of said character. One of the strongest senses is of course smell. What if I told you that you could now smell like that crotchety old Dwarf you love so, or proudly carry the musk of the badass Ranger you rolled some time ago? You’d call me a filthy liar, but what I’m suggesting isn’t stinky bullshit. Oh no, that’s the stench of the real you’re smelling. An online geek shop called Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab is now offering a set of Perfume Oil Blends they’ve dubbed “The RPG Series”. Below is sampling of the scents you can now purchase, along with a nice description of what awaits you when you uncork that bottle. They’re categorized into three groups, with “Races” and “Classes” offering quite a variety of Fantasy archetypes. They’ve even created perfumes that represent Alignment! Sign me up for a blend of CHAOTIC EVIL!! Check out all of the scents they offer right here!

At least it is taken by a seemingly decent fellow.

So, I figured I would drop a line to the owner of bendbarsliftgates.com to find out if he was in a selling mood. He replied to my email saying that he was surprised, and honored that we found his domain name so excellent that we saw fit to make an offer

BUT,
he likes it a lot himself, and has grand plans for it. He’s actually using it to good effect right now, so check it out. Carl is the guy’s name, and he posts his screen plays for cartoons there. Very amusing stuff. Also check out his other stuff at www.carlkingcreative.com when you get a moment. I like this entry the best, because it seems to suggest I am not an aloof nerd. I know I am, but it is good to know that someone thinks otherwise.
